Urgent: Carrick Decides After Man Uniteds Ninth Consecutive Defeat to Chelsea - Thairath English

Urgent: Carrick has made a decision after Manchester United's ninth straight defeat without a win, losing to Chelsea.

Michael Carrick, the embattled manager of the "Red Devils" Manchester United, said his team performed well in the first half and should have taken the lead, but ultimately showed very poor form in the second half, leading to a 0-2 away loss to Chelsea in the latest English Premier League match. He hopes to get the chance to continue managing the team in the upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Roma.

Carrick said, "We played very poorly in the second half. We should have been leading from the first half, but then performed worse after the break, conceding a needless goal, giving away a penalty, and finding ourselves in a very difficult situation from that point onward."

A reporter asked, "Are you disappointed with one of your most experienced players, Lisandro Martinez?"

As a result of this defeat, Manchester United remains in 16th place in the league standings.
