Unusual Cloud Phenomenon in Surin City Resembles Two-Headed Naga Some Spot Lucky Numbers Believed to Be Divine Blessings - Thairath English

On 31 October 2026, reporters reported a strange cloud phenomenon in Surin Province that surprised onlookers. A large cloud mass formed, which locals said resembled the head of a Naga, and upon closer look, appeared like a two-headed Naga emerging in the sky.

After about an hour, the cloud gradually dissipated, leaving three clouds aligned. Observers saw the shape resembled the number 985, sparking excitement and sharing of videos, interpreted as lucky numbers for gambling.

Mr. Songkran, 54, a local resident of Nong Lek Subdistrict, Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province, said that before the event, he was returning from running errands in Surin city around 15:20 when he noticed the sky unusually clear and bright, catching his eye with the strange large cloud formation.

At first glance, the shape reminded him of a Naga head, so he stopped his car by the roadside to watch for about an hour until the cloud gradually dispersed, leaving three clouds in a row. Upon closer inspection, he clearly saw the numbers resembling 985, recorded a video, and shared it with reporters.

However, Mr. Songkran believes it may be a sign of good fortune granted by divine beings. Whether to use the number 985 for gambling depends on each person's belief and judgment.
