Kalvakuntla Kavitha, chief of the Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS), has announced journalist Akash Kolluru as the party’s candidate for the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates’ MLC constituency.

Senior party leader Chitneni Raghu has been appointed as the observer and coordinator for the Hyderabad Graduates’ MLC constituency.

Having already fielded a BC candidate, Nalamasa Srikanth Goud, for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda seat, Ms. Kavitha has once again chosen a BC candidate for this second seat.

Mr. Akash has been working as a journalist in national media for more than a decade. He has served in prominent media organisations, including India Today, Republic TV, CNN-News18, and Dailyhunt.
