Together for 500 years, these two ancient ginkgo trees stand side by side like a devoted couple at Jinci Temple in Taiyuan, the capital of northern China's Shanxi Province. Towering more than 20 meters tall, their massive trunks are so thick that even two adults holding hands can barely wrap their arms around them.
