The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and local activists have extended their support to Jana Sena Party (JSP) candidates in several wards in Vizianagaram, providing much needed relief to the contesting JSP corporators.
A.P. Kalinga Komati Sangham Corporation Director Varanasavi Mallibabu who was denied ticket to contest from Ward 30, extended his cooperation to JSP candidate Gurana Radhika. He joined her door-to-door campaign on Friday.
In fact, Mr. Mallibabu supporters had staged a protest after the ticket of Ward 30 was allocated to the alliance partner JSP.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Mallibabu said that every leader in the alliance parties should be ready to make sacrifices in their respective divisions in response to the call given by the party high command and TDP legislator Aditi Vijayalakshmi.
Ms. Radhika said the joint campaign with leaders of the TDP and BJP will enhance her victory chances and of the 10 JSP contestants in Vizianagaram.
