The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Thursday.
The session was initially scheduled to commence on December 7. However, the State government decided to advance the opening date to November 30, reportedly in view of the expected announcement of Gram Panchayat elections, district administration sources said.
