African entertainment continues to make its mark. FAME Week Africa 2026 brought together filmmakers, musicians, content creators and international industry leaders under the theme “Africa. Untold. Unstoppable”. France took centre stage as the destination country, while MIP Africa opened doors for partnerships and opportunities to take African stories to global audiences. MultiChoice confirmed Die Kantoor, South Africa’s adaptation of The Office, will return for a second season. Stained Glass TV, behind The Wife and eHostela, is also teaming up with MultiChoice on a new dark psychological thriller. Local stars Thando Thabethe, Kim Jayde and Siv Ngesi joined discussions on turning creative talent into ownership and business success.
Soul, smooth jazz and fine dining take centre stage as acclaimed musician and social media sensation B Thompson returns to South Africa for the B Thompson Luxury Series 2026.
