'SNL' reveals host, musical guest ahead of Halloween show. Guess who? - USA Today
"Saturday Night Live's" Halloween takeover starts now.
Between Taylor Swift'ssurprise cameo and Shane Gillis's controversial monologue, "SNL" Season 52 has been jam-packed and star-studded. Tonight's show won't be any different.
Stepping up to the plate is rising star Inde Navarrette, who scared audiences straight in Curry Barkerβs supernatural horror "Obsession" back in May.
Following a breakout year, complete with an "SNL" hosting spot, Navarrette is slated to make her return to the big screen in the upcoming "X-Men" film, "Invertigo" and "The Waffle House Index."
"I literally I feel like I snuck in. I'm super excited to keep everything under wraps because I really, truly want to make this super fun for the audience," Navarrette told Variety ahead of the Oct. 31 show. "And what I love is when I don't know anything. So I'm really excited to be working with the writers."
Appearing alongside Navarrette on the Studio 8H stage is Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.
Abrams is gearing up to embark on a world tour this December, following the release of her third studio album "Daughter from Hell." The "Risk" singer last performed on "SNL" in December of 2024.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of tonight's show, including how to tune in.
Indie darlings Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams are teaming up to deliver a spooktacular show on Hallow's Eve.
According to NBC Insider, comic John Mulaney and The Strokes were the last duo to grace the stage on Halloween night. That was back in 2020. The late Catherine O'Hara, Dabney Coleman, and Donald Pleasence, too, had the distinct honor of hosting "SNL" on Halloween.
"SNL" airs Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 PT on NBC and Peacock, with episodes (new and old) streaming the next day on the streaming platform.
