SIR deadline for Telangana extended to November 30, 2026

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has extended the deadline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls in Telangana by three weeks, up to November 30.

In a late night announcement on Thursday, the ECI has revised the date of publication of final rolls from November 9 to November 30.

As per the revised schedule, the phase for notices and disposal of claims and objections has been extended from November 5 to November 26.

The schedule has been revised following a request from the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana C. Sudharsan Reddy, through a letter to the ECI dated October 29.
