MOSCOW, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Russia's Federal Security Service said Sunday it had detained a teenager suspected of threatening to carry out a terrorist attack at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve in Moscow.

The detention followed an investigation into information provided by U.S. law enforcement agencies about preparations for a possible attack at the site, the agency said in a statement.

The teenager, a Russian citizen, had posted videos and photos on social media, showing himself wearing tactical clothing, a balaclava, a cap, glasses and headphones, while holding an object resembling an automatic firearm, the statement said.

He also posted photos taken at the museum reserve with the caption "I found a place," it added.

According to the agency, the teenager had subscribed to a neo-Nazi channel on Telegram and searched online for information about mass killings. ■
