Huanggang Port, connecting Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, has made cross-border passenger travel significantly more convenient since its reopening on October 12 after redevelopment.

It operates under a co-location arrangement, allowing travelers to complete immigration clearance for both Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland in a single queue. The new system has cut clearance times from around 30 minutes at the former Lok Ma Chau/Huanggang Port to approximately five minutes.
