Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Kodangal on Saturday.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the radial road connecting Shamshabad with Kodangal would be completed by December 2027 and it would enable people to reach Kodangal from the international airport in about 70 minutes, making the region attractive for domestic and foreign investors.
Addressing a meeting with nearly 100 industrialists at the launch of the Kodangal Rural Agriculture Region Economy (RARE) Industrial Hub on Saturday, he said, “Making Kodangal a great industrial hub is my responsibility and my dream. Kodangal is my identity and self-respect.”
He expressed satisfaction that some companies had already begun construction in the industrial hub, while several others had shown interest in setting up their units. He said Kodangal had strategic advantages because of its proximity to Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
Along with Kodangal, the areas of Chandanvelly, Sitarampur and Pargi were expected to witness significant industrial development in the coming years.
He said a 250-acre Kodangal Education Hub was being developed to establish educational institutions alongside the industrial infrastructure. Advanced Technology Centres were being established in all Assembly constituencies in the State with the support of Tata Technologies to provide skill training to students.
Representatives from the aerospace, defence, green technology, renewable energy, steel, copper, textile and agro-based industries attended the interaction.
