Parineeti's mid-air celebration reminded fans of a similar anecdote shared by her cousin, actor Priyanka Chopra, last year.
During her appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show in 2025, Priyanka spoke about how her husband, singer Nick Jonas, once took her on a flight above the clouds so she could see the moon and break her Karwa Chauth fast.
Recalling the incident, Priyanka said they had struggled to spot the moon on several occasions. On one such day, Nick was performing at a stadium packed with around 60,000 to 70,000 people. Despite waiting until late in the evening, the moon remained hidden behind the clouds, with rain also threatening to disrupt the event.
Priyanka recalled that Nick eventually took her on a flight above the clouds, allowing her to see the moon and complete the ritual.Parineeti and Raghav's relationship
