Panthers have parted ways with another defensive coach - Panthers Wire
The Carolina Panthers have parted ways with yet another member of their defensive coaching staff.
As first reported by Vashti Hurt of Carolina Blitz on Tuesday afternoon, assistant linebackers coach Mayur Chaudhari is no longer with the team.
Chaudhari's departure seems to be a fairly recent development given that he was included in Carolina's announcement of their updated defensive coaching staff on Monday, which followed their dismissals of defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and defensive passing game coordinator Jonathan Cooley on Friday.
Carolina brought Chaudhari on along with Evero in 2023. He began with the team as a defensive assistant before being promoted to assistant linebackers coach ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Prior to his four-year stint with the Panthers, Chaudhari served as an assistant special teams coach for the Los Angeles Chargers (2021) and the Atlanta Falcons (2018 to 2020).
Peter Hansen, who also had ties to Evero, has remained with Carolina as their assistant defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
