NLC India Limited (NLCIL) organised a walkathon in Neyveli on Friday as part of its Vigilance Awareness campaign, bringing together employees, stakeholders, and school students to raise awareness of integrity and the need to combat corruption.
A press release said that the walkathon began at NLC India Hospital, where participants, including NLCIL Chief Vigilance Officer Appakannu Govindarajan, director (Mines) Suresh Chandra Suman, and director (Human Resources) Samir Swarup, took the Integrity Pledge.
The participants walked through the township’s main thoroughfares carrying placards with anti-corruption messages. The walkathon concluded at Gandhi statue in Neyveli, where a digital signature wall was set up for participants to digitally record their signatures.
