In conjunction with the move, the Giants held workouts with four players: Wide receivers Maurice Alexander, River Cracraft and Steven Sims, along with punter Wes Pahl.

Alexander previously spent time with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears after going undrafted out of Florida International. Cracraft, a Washington State product, has appeared in games for multiple teams, including the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders. Sims, who played at Kansas, has also logged return duties across several stops in his career.

Pahl, a recent Oklahoma State standout, was brought in primarily to serve as a punter for the wide receiver tryouts.

The three wide receivers all bring return experience, addressing a clear need for the Giants. Running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is currently on injured reserve (IR), and wide receiver Charlie Jones has been limited in practice with a hand injury.

With return responsibilities in flux heading into Week 9, New York appears to be evaluating options to bolster its special teams depth.

No immediate signings were reported following the tryouts.
