McKenna Grace reveals one 'terrifying' thing she won't do on-screen - Geo News

Hunger Games star McKenna Grace has said she does not take on roles that involve explicit scenes, describing the prospect as “terrifying”.

The 20-year-old actress made the comments in an interview with Cosmopolitan, speaking ahead of the release of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.

“At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things,” she said. She added: “I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change.”

Grace was keen to make clear that this does not mean she sticks to wholesome projects. She pointed to her role in Scream, where her character is killed by Ghostface, as proof that her work can be dark.

She also spoke about her ambition to play a Disney princess one day.

The star’s next big release is the Hunger Games prequel, which focuses on Haymitch Abernathy and arrives in cinemas on 20 November. 

She plays Maysilee Donner, a District 12 tribute in the Second Quarter Quell. Grace is a longtime fan of the franchise, and has spoken about making “Team Peeta” edits as a teenager.
