LGE 2026: Vosloorus residents flag 'huge concern' of youth unemployment - EWN

Some Vosloorus residents have raised concerns about unemployment in their community, saying their children have been struggling to find jobs.

With the local government elections just days away, residents said unemployment will be among the key issues influencing their decisions at the ballot box.

Radio 702 is engaging with the community on Thursday, as its Ekurhuleni elections debate takes place at Nguni Hall.

As you drive around Vosloorus during the day, one thing that stands out is the number of young people sitting outside various tuck shops, with some even resorting to gambling.
