ICAI declares September 2026 CA Foundation results; toppers, scorecard download link
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on November 6 announced the CA Foundation September 2026 exam results. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check their results and download their scorecards and merit lists through the official result portal at caresults.icai.org.

Students need to secure at least 40 marks out of 100 in each of the four papers and an aggregate of at least 200 marks out of 400 to pass the examination.
The CA Foundation examination consists of four papers carrying 100 marks each, making the total examination worth 400 marks. The papers include Accounting, Business Laws, Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics.

Candidates who qualify for the CA Foundation examination will be eligible to proceed to the next stage of the Chartered Accountancy course, CA Intermediate.
Students who do not meet the qualifying criteria can appear for the next examination cycle. The January 2027 CA Foundation examinations are scheduled for January 3, 5, 7 and 9.
