The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam district, in association with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), will offer free child-care training to women aged 19 to 40 from November 2.
The 360-hour programme will be conducted at the Sri Sathya Sai Mahila Skill Development Centre in Yendada. Women who have passed or failed Class 10 are eligible to enrol.
According to the organisers, participants who complete the training will receive a government certificate. The programme aims to equip them with skills to pursue employment in child-care centres, hospitals, and kindergartens, or take up home-based child-care services.
