Flat Steel Gets Cheaper as Aisha Steel Slashes Prices - ProPakistani
Aisha Steel Mills Ltd (ASL) has cut the prices of its flat steel products by up to Rs. 8,000 per ton, according to JS Research.
The price of cold-rolled coil (CRC) has been reduced by about Rs. 6,000 per ton to Rs. 202,450 per ton, while hot-dip galvanized coil (HDGC) is down Rs. 8,000 per ton to Rs. 191,800 per ton, effective November 1, 2026.
Based on the new rates, CRC was previously priced at around Rs. 208,450 per ton, meaning a reduction of roughly 2.9 percent. HDGC was earlier at about Rs. 199,800 per ton, a cut of around 4 percent.
The update was shared by M. Waqas Ghani, CFA, of JS Research, based on the brokerageβs channel checks.
CRC and HDGC are the raw material for a wide range of everyday products. CRC is used in home appliances, car parts, and steel furniture, while galvanized coil goes into roofing sheets, construction materials, and appliance bodies.
A buyer of 10 tons of HDGC, such as a roofing sheet or appliance maker, will now save about Rs. 80,000 per order, while the same quantity of CRC costs around Rs. 60,000 less.
Whether these savings reach consumers depends on manufacturers passing on the lower input costs, but the cut eases pressure on local industries that rely on flat steel.
Aisha Steel is one of Pakistanβs main flat steel producers, so its pricing often sets the direction for the wider market.
