Commemorative Pins for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to Go on Sale Nationwide at Big C on 9 Nov - Thairath English

The Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister will begin selling commemorative pins for the royal cremation ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on 9 November at Big C stores nationwide.

On 6 November 2026 at Big C Place Ratchadapisek branch, Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister, chaired a press conference announcing the sale of commemorative pins for the royal cremation ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, Queen Mother, on 16 December 2026. Also attending were Mr. Aswin Techajaroenvikul, CEO and Managing Director, and Mrs. Thapanee Techajaroenvikul, Vice Chairwoman of Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited.

The Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister stated that the Office has received royal permission to produce commemorative pins for the royal cremation ceremony to sell to government agencies and the public at 300 baht each. The pins are intended for wearing during the ceremony and as keepsakes honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Proceeds after expenses will be presented in royal merit according to royal wishes.

He also expressed gratitude to BJC Group, Big C, and Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited for supporting the pin sales to facilitate public access. The sales will commence on 9 November 2026 at Big C branches nationwide.
