Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will inaugurate a two-day women’s policy summit in the State capital on November 2.

The event ‘Her Summit 2026’ will be organised as part of the Makalkoppam scheme.

Minister for Women and Child Development Bindhu Krishna said the government aimed at announcing the new women’s policy on March 8, International Women’s Day, next year. The new policy was intended for women’s social, financial, and political empowerment for an equitable, safe, and progressive Keralam.

Employment-financial empowerment and entrepreneurship; political representation and leadership; education-health-psychological welfare; women safety and laws; and cyber safety are the five main areas of discussion at the summit.
