The idol band Xdinary Heroes will launch into ‘sweeping the music shows’ as they present back-to-back stages for the new song on Mnet ‘M Countdown’ on the 15th, KBS 2 ‘Music Bank’ on the 16th, and MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 17th.

Xdinary Heroes made their comeback on the 12th with the new mini-album ‘IMPULSE’ (Impulse) and the title track ‘Obsessed with Youth’. Returning about six months after the April mini-album ‘DEAD AND’ (Dead And), they will appear on Mnet ‘M Countdown’ on the 15th, KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’ on the 16th, and MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 17th to showcase the new song on stage.

The title track ‘Obsessed with Youth’ is an EDM rock song where lyrical sensibility and explosive energy intersect, with dreamy synths, delicate vocals, fierce guitars, and a dynamic sound serving as key listening points. It simultaneously depicts the ambivalent emotions of elation and instability in youth, singing of the radiant moments of being young.

During a Q&A held on the album release day, the members shared via their agency JYP, “As we captured a refreshing and bright mood, we focused on naturally bringing out the energy in each member’s playing and vocals. We thought the best way to express this was to reveal, as they are, the emotions one can experience only at this time. On stage as well, we intend to let that sincerity reach the audience by showing the feelings and intensity of each moment without filtering,” highlighting key points for enjoying the new performance.

With ‘desire’ as the keyword, Xdinary Heroes express diverse emotions on this album ‘IMPULSE’, conveying a mindset and message of accepting any emotion just as it comes. Toward the new release that captures musical struggle and growth, listeners are responding with reactions such as, “An album that offers comfort and support to many who face the worries and storms hidden behind the romantic images and brilliance of youth,” and, “The freedom, wandering, and passion of youth can all be felt in one album.”

Riding the momentum of their comeback, they will hold a solo concert of the same name as the new release, ‘Xdinary Heroes Concert < IMPULSE >’, at Inspire Arena in Incheon from November 13 to 15, meeting Villains (fandom name: Villains). General ticket sales for the show open at 8 p.m. on the 19th on NOL.
