Bengals update return timeline for injured starter - Bengals Wire

The Cincinnati Bengals keep getting good Ja’Marr Chase and overall injury report updates weekly.

Those Bengals are about to get healthier on the injured reserve list, too.

According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, wide receiver Andrei Iosivas is getting ready for a return from injured reserve, too. The estimated timetable there would put him at a return in Week 10 on a Sunday night against Pittsburgh.

Rehabbing after thumb surgery, all signs point to then, if not sooner.

"It's going to come down to how much pain I can tolerate, and I can tolerate a lot," Iosivas told Hobson. "I just don't want to think about it while I'm attacking the ball. It's getting better." …

This would mean Iosivas still misses Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans and the overseas game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9.

An important third wideout in Joe Burrow’s offense, Iosivas has appeared in just two games this year. With him sidelined and the tight end depth chart hit with multiple injuries, the Bengals have turned to names like Dohnte Meyers for the time being.
