The inaugural China Media Group (CMG) World Robot Mount Taishan Climbing Competition kicked off on November 2 in Tai'an, east China's Shandong Province. Robots from around the world have gathered at the foot of Mount Taishan to take on a challenging real-world mountain course.

The race delivered some dramatic moments: Robot No. 2 made a spectacular overtake, while No. 3 slipped during acceleration.

Meanwhile, aΒ robot dog smoothly navigated Mount Taishan's rugged stone steps.
